Portable Toilet Rental FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most about renting portable restrooms in Portland, Maine — booking, unit types, placement, servicing, coverage, and pricing.

The questions below cover booking, unit types, delivery and placement, servicing, coverage, and what moves a price. If your situation is not covered, call (207) 870-9489 — we are reachable Monday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–11:00 PM, and a two-minute conversation usually settles what a form cannot. For deeper background, our planning guides work through counts, placement, and cost factors in more detail.

Renting and scheduling

How to book, how far ahead to plan, and what happens if your dates move.

How do I book a portable toilet rental?

Call us at (207) 870-9489 or send a request through our contact form with your dates, location, and how many people will use the restrooms. We will recommend a unit count and confirm availability.

How far in advance should I book?

A week or two is comfortable for most rentals. Summer weekends and event dates fill quickly, so earlier is better. We do accommodate shorter notice when routing allows.

What are your hours?

We are reachable Monday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Can I extend a rental?

Yes. Call us before your scheduled pickup date and we will extend the rental and adjust the service schedule.

Units and options

What each unit type includes and how to tell which one suits your site or guests.

What types of units do you rent?

Standard portable restrooms, deluxe units with a flush and sink, ADA-accessible units, luxury restroom trailers, and portable handwashing stations.

What is included with a standard unit?

Ventilation, an interior latch, a paper holder, a hand sanitizer dispenser, and a urinal. Units arrive clean and stocked.

Do you have accessible units?

Yes. Our ADA-accessible units have a wide door, step-free entry, interior turning space, and grab bars.

Can I rent a handwashing station on its own?

Yes. Stations can be rented separately or added to any restroom order.

Delivery, placement, and servicing

Where a unit can sit, what we need from you on delivery day, and what a service visit involves.

Where can a unit be placed?

On firm, level ground that our service truck can reach, generally within about 25 feet. Grass, gravel, dirt, and pavement all work.

Do I need to be present for delivery?

Not usually. We just need clear placement instructions and any gate or access details.

What happens during a service visit?

We pump the tank, clean and sanitize the interior, add fresh deodorizer, and restock paper and sanitizer.

How often are units serviced?

Weekly is typical. Heavy-use sites and hot weather often call for twice-weekly service.

Service area and pricing

Where we deliver across southern Maine and the factors that shape a quote.

What areas do you serve?

Portland and surrounding southern Maine communities, including South Portland, Scarborough, Westbrook, Biddeford, Saco, Brunswick, Windham, Gorham, Falmouth, and Cape Elizabeth, plus many nearby towns.

What affects the price of a rental?

Unit type, number of units, rental length, service frequency, and delivery distance. Longer rentals generally cost less per week.

Do you rent in winter?

Yes. Winter rentals work well as long as placement stays plowed and reachable for our service truck.

How do I get a quote?

Call (207) 870-9489 or use our contact form with your dates, location, and expected use, and we will put together a quote.
